Hire prices

Sound Operator charged at $50 per hour
Prices shown are for 1 days' hire, being up to 24 hours.
Additional days are discounted by 30%.
When hire exceeds 24 hours it is charged as 2 days, (second day at 70%).
All the days of the week are charged equally.
A full weeks' hire of 7 days is charged as 5 days hire at full daily rate.

Terms of hire

Prices do not include insurance. Replacement for lost equipment and or repairs to damaged equipment is charged to the hirer. Payment for replacement and or repairs required within 14 days of the event.

If you are concerned about insurance, you can contact your own insurance company and arrange for temporary cover. Other than that, just looking after the equipment as if it was your own is the best idea.

Cancellation Policy

All hires must be fully paid prior to hire date.

Noise Control Officers

A word of warning. If someone complains about noise levels, you will get a visit from Noise Control who will ask you to turn it down. If you don’t comply, they can return and confiscate equipment (they may also have a policeman with them). If they do take the equipment away, there is a charge of $250 plus our time at $50 an hour to recover it from the Police.

Having said that, don't be too concerned, Aura Sound hasn’t had any equipment confiscated before. Most people are pretty sensible and turn it down once the Noise Control Officers turn up.
